Famed "minimalist" artist Donald Judd, 1928-1994, had lived here. There is a good article on this building in the 4/25/13 Wall Street Journal's "WSJ Magazine," and it can also be found at The cast-iron facade was designed by architect Nicholas Whyte in 1870, according to the article. The building is being renovated but tours will soon be offered.
